supply air requirements, which reduces the fan power requirements of a building, and introduces the possibility of a dedicated outdoor air system. This reduced air volume also results in
lower room air velocity compared to an all-air mixing ventilation system, reducing the likelihood of draft and improving occupant comfort.
In addition, radiant systems reduce the supply air volume required in a space, which in turn reduces the amount of ductwork required and, by extension,
the plenum height. Reduced plenum height has the potential to reduce construction costs.
