CBE post-occupancy surveys of naturally ventilated buildings show very high satisfaction levels. Occupant comfort levels can be predicted using the adaptive comfort model, which adjusts the set-points based on outdoor conditions. When it is warmer outside people expect the building interior to also be warmer so interior conditions can be adjusted accordingly.
Natural ventilation is compatible with other indoor environmental quality strategies used to enhance occupant comfort and productivity, such as daylighting.
