PRM Silencers
Price PRM packless silencers are designed to provide low pressure drops in medium velocity applications, but depending on the application, may be used in low or high velocity systems. This medium velocity configuration provides high levels of insertion loss across the targeted range of frequencies, and the tapered tail arrangement allows for static regain to minimize the pressure drop. This configuration is best suited for applications with velocities of 2000 fpm or less.

PRICE Packless Rectangular Silencers are designed to provide solutions to HVAC
noise control applications where fibrous
acoustic material is not permitted in the
airstream. The aerodynamically designed
internal geometry maximizes attenuation
and limits added pressure drop. The Price
line of available standard sizes offers
excellent flexibility to ductwork designs,
and because we do not limit our cataloged
silencer offering to certain sizes, we have
the ability to build each silencer to suit the
ductwork and the application. |
