PECL (S,B) Silencers
This low velocity configuration provides the highest insertion loss levels across the target range of frequencies, and the tapered tail arrangement allows for static regain to minimize pressure drop. This configuration is best suited for applications with velocities of 750 fpm or less.
PECM (S,B) Silencers
This medium velocity configuration provides high levels of insertion loss across the full range of frequencies, and the tapered tail arrangement allows for static regain to minimize pressure drop. This configuration is best suited for applications with velocities of 1750 fpm or less.
PECH (S,B) Silencers
This high velocity configuration minimizes the pressure drop that can occur at higher velocities, while still providing high levels of insertion loss across the targeted range of frequencies. The PECH silencer is best suited for applications where high air velocities cannot be avoided.

Price Packless Elbow Circular Silencers are designed to provide solutions to HVAC noise control applications where fibrous acoustic material is not permitted in circular ductwork systems. The aerodynamically designed internal geometry optimizes attenuation and pressure drop performance. The Price line of available standard sizes offers excellent flexibility to ductwork design, and because we do not limit our cataloged silencer offering to certain sizes, we have the ability to build each silencer to suit the ductwork and the application. |
