PASSIVE BEAM

PCBL - Passive Beam Linear

The PCBL is a high capacity passive beam. This unit operates solely through natural convection to cool the occupied space. It does not require external air but is to be coupled with other products, such as Active Beams, Under Floor, or Displacement. The PCBL can accommodate various installation options such as above perforated ceilings, mounted in suspended ceilings, or mounted in T-bar.

ACTIVE BEAM LINEAR 2- AND 1-WAY

ACBL / ACBL-HE – Active Beam Linear / Active Beam Linear High Efficiency

The ACBL / ACBL-HE are high capacity active beams. These units can handle high heating/cooling loads while simultaneously supplying fresh air to the occupied space. The ACBL / ACBL-HE induce room air that mixes with supply air and discharge back into the room through 1 or 2 slots (2 slots for HE) located along the length of the beam. These units are ideal for both perimeter and internal locations, and they can be installed in suspended ceilings, T-bar or exposed mounting.

MODULAR ACTIVE CHILLED BEAM 4-WAY

ACBM

The Price modular active chilled beam, model ACBM, is an active beam designed to fit into a modular ceiling grid. The Price ACBM utilizes primary air supplied by a separate air handling system to induce room return air across a cooling and/or heating coil to provide cooling and heating capacity to the occupied space in a 4-way air discharge pattern.

HORIZONTAL ACTIVE CHILLED BEAM

ACBH

The Price ACBH is designed similar to a fan coil, minus the blower/motor. This active beam discharges the mixed, primary and induced, air in a horizontal orientation and can be coupled with a grille and slot diffuser. Ideal applications include hotel rooms, patient rooms, and office spaces in a bulkhead location.

VERTICAL ACTIVE CHILLED BEAM

ACBV

Similar to the ACBH, the Price ACBV discharges the mixed, primary and induced, air in a vertical orientation either upwards or downwards. This active beam is ideal for retrofitting induction units in existing spaces and is typically placed along the perimeter under or above windows.

FLOOR MOUNTED ACTIVE BEAM

ACBC

The Price Floor Mounted Active Beam, ACBC, is designed for occupant comfort. It provides high cooling and heating capacities while simultaneously supplying fresh air to the occupied area at low velocities. The ACBC is ideally suited for perimeter applications that naturally have a permanent cabinet element in the space, such as classrooms or laboratories.
