Condensate Pump: Typically used when the condensate water has to be pumped out due to the drain pipes being installed above the unit. The type of condensate pump used will depend upon the amount of condensate generated by the unit, the amount of available space and the required pump pressure due to vertical discharge head and total tubing length. The equation below can be used to estimate the amount of condensate generated from a coil based on the latent load:
Ql = Latent Cooling Load
Condensate Generated (GPH) = 0.007884 x Ql
Price offers two condensate pumps to meet varying customer requirements:
Mini Condensate Pump: One of the quietest two-piece piston pumps on the market. This pump easily fits into the fan coil drain pan with minimal installation time and is ideal for units with tight space constraints.
Tank Pump: Designed for applications with higher flow and pressure requirements. These pumps are typically piped to the main drain pan connection. |
