Application RXVQ
General exhaust of non corrosive room air.

The Price RXVQ is a zinc-coated steel control valve that integrates both VAV and Silencer Technology into one complete package intended for non corrosive applications such as general room exhaust from laboratories, isolation rooms, etc.

 


 
Construction RXVQ
  • Valve casing and damper constructed of 22 gauge zinc-coated steel, mechanically fastened.
  • Silencer Construction of 22 gauge type gauge zinc-coated steel, mechanically fastened.
  • Absorptive silencer section is packed with fiberglass media wrapped with either polymer film (PL) or fiberglass cloth (FC) to provide fiberglass protection suitable for the application.
  • Packless silencers section contains no absorptive media and is constructed solely of metal.

Laboratory exhaust and fumehoods. If exhausting corrosive chemicals the LXVQ Series is recommended.

The Price RXVSSQ series of round duct control valves is designed for environments where corrosion and contamination of VAV terminal equipment is a concern. Price RDVSSQ series air volume assemblies integrate both VAV and silencer technology into one complete package. It is suggested that the RXVSSQ be mechanically fastened and sealed to the ductwork, rather than welded. For more critical applications, or if welding in place is required, see Price LXVQ series.

 
  • Valve casing constructed of 24gauge type 304 stainless steel.
  • Silencer Construction of 24 gauge type 304 stainless steel, mechanically fastened.
  • Absorptive silencer section is packed with fiberglass media wrapped with either polymer film (PL) or fiberglass cloth (FC) to provide fiberglass protection suitable for the application.
  • Packless silencers section contains no absorptive media and is constructed solely of metal.
  • Damper fabricated from 22 gauge type 316 stainless steel, mechanically fastened.
  • Damper shaft, sensor and all fasteners exposed to air flow are type 304 stainless steel.
  • Damper shaft bearings and damper gasket are polyethylene.
  • NEMA1 Controller cover and all other external metal components are zinc coated steel.
  • SP300 multipoint flow sensor designed to maintain control accuracy indepenĀ­dent of field installation conditions.
  • Gauge taps for flow measurement and balancing are supplied for units with pneumatic controls (optional for digital controls by others).
