General
The Price Laminar OR System is intended for use in hospital operating rooms, patient treatment rooms and any other area in the hospital that requires a high level of cleanliness. The Laminar OR System
consists of a Price Unitee gasketed ceiling system, Price LFD series laminar flow diffusers and Price 700 series return grilles.
The system is custom designed and is
laid out to match the architect’s reflected
ceiling plans and the engineer’s mechanical
drawings.
The gasketed ceiling tees and fill-in panels
provide a seal between the clean, sterile
environment of the operating room and the
ceiling plenum. This seal allows the room
to be pressurized to reduce or eliminate
infiltration of contaminants from adjacent
areas.
The laminar flow diffusers provide an
even unidirectional flow of clean supply
air from the ceiling to the floor, washing
over any occupants and equipment in the
room with minimal entrainment of room air.
Contaminants are displaced down, away
from the patient and staff, and exhausted
out the low-level returns.

Price LFDC series laminar flow diffusers are
available with optional high efficiency filters
HE, HEPA, ULPA.
HDCR-PL
The Price HDCR-PL combines multiple
laminar diffusers into a common plenum
secured to a Unitee HDCR ceiling system.
Through the addition of the plenum, inlet
duct connections can be reduced, saving
valuable ceiling plenum space, ductwork
material and labor. Large units will be made
up of multiple sections joined together with
a maximum section size of 48 in. x 120 in.
